The executive director of the “Erdenes Mongol Company” B.Byambasaikhan has been appointed as the third member of the board of directors of the Oyu-Tolgoi Company (OT). Previously, D.Ganbold, G.Temuulen, and Ch.Otgonchuluu have been working as members of the OT board. In April 2015, one of them, G.Temuulen, who had previously been a Minister of Mining requested to resign from his position on the board.

Last Friday, the decision to appoint B.Byambasaikhan as a member of the board, instead of G.Temuulen, was resolved. It can be noted that Mr. B.Byambasaikhan is one of the officials, who participated in the signing of the contract for OT “Phase Two” (Underground Mining Construction)”.
